Aaron Appel named All-American
MHS Senior Captain Aaron
Appel - Midfielder for the MHS Boys Soccer team - was named to
the All American High School Soccer team after he lead the MHS
team to an incredible 11 game win streak this past season, which
took them to the state quarterfinals for the first time since
2004. Aaron was 1 of only 125 High School players
awarded the All American honor. MHS coach Frank Alonso called it
"the most dominant and influential season by a player I have
seen in my 10 years at MHS."

Adam McCann - 1st team All State;
All Region; All Centennial
Jared Rogers - 1st team All
State; All Region; 2nd team All Centennial
Mitch Braun - 2nd team All Region
Thomas Fullagar - 2nd team All
Region
Kurt Nolan - Honorable Mention
All Region
Congratulations to the team on
a remarkable season finishing 12-6-1 with the titles of
Centennial League Champion and Regional Champion. 16 of
the 18 Varsity players were products of LASC!
Congratulations to Grant Johannes, former LASC & MHS player, who
is now playing NCAA Division II soccer at the University of
Indianapolis.
